An anti-discrimination policy should be a positive statement that includes all of the groups the association believes ought to be protected.
It should not merely be a defensive statement designed to protect the association against law suits.
Here's a very inclusive policy from an Illinois school district:
"District 219 ensures equal opportunities regardless of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, handicap, disability, ethnic geographical background, or national origin."
